AAMP Utah/The Beehive Code of Conduct

No full nudity, even if it is encouraged. We are an all ages community and there are strict laws about nudity in non-sexually oriented business in salt lake that we must adhere to.

No self-harm or self mutilation is allowed, even during performances. Injuries sustained in this way will be treated like any other injury and emergency services will be contacted.

Hate speech and bigotry is not tolerated. Those expressing hate speech outside of scripted and approved plays performances will be asked to leave.

Threats of any kind toward members of the community, including the audience, performers or staff, will result in immediate and permanent banning from the space.

People who use the platform to hurt or attack other people may be disinvited from the event.

Sexual harassment or assault of any kind will not be tolerated. Performers and staff are expected to act like professionals when in this space and should treat each other as such.

Always ask before touching someone in any way. This goes for everyone, audience, performers, and staff.

Always make intentions clear when engaging in physical contact. Respect the boundaries of others.

People who have made others in the space feel unsafe will be disinvited from the space.

People who have committed sexual misconduct, assault, or other crimes or violent conduct in other spaces within the performing arts community may be asked to leave.

Purposeful destruction of property or theft of property (including money) will not be tolerated and will result in an immediate and permanent ban.

Banning and disinviting people is at the discretion of whoever is reserving the space and staff of The Beehive/AAMP Utah

If misconduct is being knowingly committed in the space, The Beehive/AAMP staff will take actions they deem appropriate, however, The Beehive/AAMP is not responsible for misconduct of third parties hosting events in the space or audience members.

The Beehive/AAMP reserves the right to cancel any shows or performances for any reason. Reasons could include: Sexual Misconduct from performers or showrunners,
All those who are in the space are subject to this code of conduct whether they have read it or not. Those who cannot abide by the code of conduct should not come to or hold events at The Beehive or with AAMP UtahSafety is the responsibility of everyone in the space. If you feel someone is in violation of the code of conduct, please contact a staff member at AAMP.
